Josh Turner Almost Became the Voice of Home Depot

Country music star Josh Turner has revealed that he once auditioned for a Home Depot commercial. The spot ultimately went to actor Josh Lucas, best known for his role as young John Dutton on the TV series 'Yellowstone'.

Turner made the admission during an interview with Taste of Country Nights when asked about his experience with voiceover work.

'I hate to say it, but the stupid Home Depot commercial that everybody hears every five minutes on every channel on TV, I read for that,' Turner said. 'But they decided to go with a different Josh and chose Josh Lucas.'
