JPMorgan Boosts Dividend as Strong Capital Position Supports Payout

Instruments

Share

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) declared a quarterly dividend of $1.65 per share, up from $1.50 previously.

This increase is supported by JPMorgan's strong capital position, which includes a CET1 ratio of 14.2% and $302.6 billion in net income applicable to common equity during the first six months of 2026.

The bank also has a significant liquidity buffer, with roughly $1.5 trillion of high-quality liquid assets and unencumbered marketable securities.

Despite the modest forward yield of about 1.9%, JPMorgan's dividend growth and capital generation provide considerable support for the current payout.
