JPMorgan Boosts Stake in German Chemical Giant LANXESS

JPMorgan Chase & Co., an American multinational investment bank and financial services holding company, has made a significant increase in its stake in LANXESS AG, a German specialty chemicals company. According to a notification filed with the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), JPMorgan acquired 1.67% of LANXESS' voting rights on August 28, 2026.

The acquisition was made through a combination of share purchases and the exercise of call options. As a result, JPMorgan's total stake in LANXESS now stands at 5.13%. The company's previous stake was reported to be around 4.79% in June this year.
