JPMorgan Chase Employee Sues Bank Over Alleged Sexual Orientation Discrimination

A gay employee at JPMorgan Chase has filed a lawsuit against the bank, alleging that his supervisor discriminated against him due to his sexual orientation. Brian Larson claims that his supervisor told him to keep his work with an LGBTQ+ affinity group separate from his job at the bank.

The complaint also states that Larson's supervisor refused to credit his leadership work in the PRIDE (Pride and Respect for Diverse Employees) group in his performance review, despite a directive from the bank's diversity chief. This decision was made in September 2026.
