JPMorgan Chase Executive Director Files Renewed Defamation Suit

JPMorgan Chase Executive Director Lorna Hajdini has filed a renewed countersuit against former employee Chirayu Rana, accusing him of defamation and seeking damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Hajdini alleges that Rana's claims against her are 'false' and that he engaged in a deliberate scheme to damage her reputation and extract millions from her and the bank.

The countersuit follows Rana's July lawsuit, which accused Hajdini of coercing him into sexual acts and demanding his submissiveness for career advancement.

Rana also claimed that JPMorgan Chase had a culture of racism and sexism, and that he was subjected to harassment and bullying during his 18 months at the bank.
