JPMorgan Chase introduces structured investment product with buffered returns
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC has introduced a new structured investment product called the 3yr INDU/RTY/SPX Buffered Return Enhanced Notes. These notes, issued with a minimum denomination of $1,000, are linked to the performance of three major U.S. stock indices: the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the Russell 2000, and the S&P 500. The product offers a buffer of 10% and an upside leverage factor of at least 1.60, meaning investors can potentially amplify gains while protecting against moderate losses.
The notes have a maturity date of November 2, 2029, with an observation date of October 30, 2029. The estimated value of the notes, when the terms are set, will not be less than $900 per $1,000 principal amount. Payment at maturity depends on the performance of the underlying indices, with investors receiving their principal back if the decline in any index is no more than 10%. If the decline exceeds 10%, investors could lose part or all of their principal.
The product comes with several risks, including the potential for loss, exposure to market declines, and credit risks associated with JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Additionally, the notes lack interest payments, dividend payments, or voting rights. The issuer warns that the estimated value of the notes will likely be lower than the original issue price and that there is no guarantee of liquidity in the secondary market.
Investors are advised to consult the prospectus and other related documents filed with the SEC for more detailed information before making any investment decisions. The risks and potential conflicts of interest, such as hedging activities by J.P. Morgan or its affiliates, are also highlighted in the disclosure.
