JPMorgan Chase Seen as Undervalued Amid Dividend Hike and Buyback
JPMorgan Chase (JPM) has raised its quarterly dividend to $1.65 per share and approved a $50 billion buyback program.
The bank continues to tap bond markets with new fixed income offerings, despite recent weakness in the stock price.
Over the past month, JPM's share price has slipped 5.29%, but this decline contrasts with a 9.75% total shareholder return over the past year, which includes reinvested dividends.
According to Simply Wall St, JPM is undervalued by around 9% based on its fair value estimate of $370.39, compared to its current share price of $337.53.
