JPMorgan Chase Sees Institutional Ownership Surge Amid Strong Earnings
JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s shares have seen a significant increase in institutional ownership. Merit Financial Group LLC boosted its stake by 37.8% in the second quarter, purchasing an additional 67,152 shares for $80,203,000.
This is part of a larger trend of institutions increasing their holdings in JPMorgan Chase & Co. Norges Bank bought a new position worth about $11,396,496,000, while Bank of America Corp DE lifted its position by 15.8% in the first quarter.
JPMorgan's Asia-Pacific corporate banking revenue increased more than 20%, driven by AI investment and data-center financing. The company also raised its S&P 500 target to 8,000 due to stronger earnings and productive AI investment.
