JPMorgan Chase has announced plans to invest over $750 billion in housing through 2035, marking a significant increase in its commitment to affordable housing and homeownership across the US.

The initiative aims to boost JPMorgan's mortgage lending by more than 40% and support 500,000 customers in buying homes while producing and preserving over 1 million affordable housing units.

The bank will also hire 850 new home lending advisors to help expand its efforts. This move is part of JPMorgan's broader American Dream Initiative, which targets increased small-business lending and expanded access to healthcare.
