JPMorgan Chase Ties Up with Micron Technology in New Notes Deal
JPMorgan Chase & Co., the guarantor, has announced details of a new financial product tied to Micron Technology's (MU) stock performance. The notes, issued by JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC, offer investors the potential for returns based on Micron's closing price.
The contingent interest payments will be paid at a rate of 10.23% per annum, or 0.8525% monthly, if the closing price of one share of Micron stock is greater than or equal to $467.695 on any review date. This threshold represents 50% of the initial value, which was set at $935.39 based on the pricing date.
If Micron's final closing price meets or exceeds this barrier, investors will receive a cash payment at maturity equal to their principal amount plus accrued interest and contingent payments. However, if the stock's performance falls short of the threshold, investors may lose some or all of their principal amount.
