JPMorgan Chase Unveils Digital Buffered Notes Linked to S&P 500
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is issuing a new structured investment product, the Digital Buffered Notes linked to the S&P 500® Index, with a total offering of $4.9 million. These notes, due October 20, 2027, provide investors with an 8.85% fixed return if the S&P 500® Index remains within 10% of its initial level at maturity. The initial index level is set at 7,722.72, recorded on the pricing date of October 2, 2026.
The notes come with a 10% buffer, meaning investors will not lose principal if the index declines by up to 10%. However, if the index falls by more than 10%, investors will lose 1.11111% of the principal for every additional 1% decline. The notes are unsecured obligations of JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and are fully guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The minimum investment is $10,000, with additional investments in multiples of $1,000. The estimated value of the notes is $986.80 per $1,000 principal amount. The proceeds from the sale will be used to hedge the issuer's obligations, with a portion of the profits potentially offsetting donations to Blue Star Families, a nonprofit supporting military families.
Investors should be aware of the risks involved, including potential loss of principal and the credit risk of both the issuer and the guarantor. The notes are not bank deposits, are not insured by any governmental agency, and are not obligations of a bank.
