JPMorgan Chase unveils structured product with contingent interest tied to Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co., has filed a Form 424B2 detailing a new structured financial product linked to the Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) and the S&P 500 Index (SPX). This offering, set to launch on or about October 15, 2026, includes notes with contingent interest payments tied to the performance of these major indices.
The notes offer a Contingent Interest Rate of at least 9.50% per annum, payable quarterly at a rate of at least 2.375%. However, these payments are contingent on the closing level of each index being greater than or equal to 70% of its Initial Value on any Review Date. If the indices fall below this Interest Barrier, no interest payments will be made for that period.
The product includes provisions for early redemption, allowing JPMorgan Chase to redeem the notes on any Interest Payment Date (except the first and final dates) at a price of $1,000 per note plus any applicable contingent interest. The maturity date is set for October 12, 2029, with final payments dependent on the indices' performance relative to their Initial Values.
Investors should be aware of the risks, particularly if the indices underperform. If the Final Value of either index is below the Trigger Value, investors could lose more than 30% of their principal or even their entire investment at maturity.
