JPMorgan Chase ended its banking relationship with prediction market platform Polymarket in October 2025, citing regulatory concerns. The Financial Times reported that JPMorgan told Polymarket to find a new banking partner after ending their account.

Polymarket has since moved its accounts to another lender, which remains unidentified. Despite the severed bank relationship, JPMorgan still maintains ties with Polymarket and has invited CEO Shayne Coplan to speak at private client conferences.

Coplan has appeared alongside former NFL quarterback Tom Brady at one such event in February 2026. This year alone, he has spoken at three JPMorgan flagship events.

A Polymarket spokesperson confirmed the continued relationship with JPMorgan, stating that they maintain a 'close, active relationship' across multiple entities and operational integrations.
