JPMorgan Introduces High-Risk S&P 500 Linked Barrier Notes
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has introduced a new financial product, the $775,000 Uncapped Accelerated Barrier Notes linked to the S&P 500® Futures Excess Return Index. These notes, priced on October 2, 2026, are expected to settle on or about October 7, 2026, and will mature on October 5, 2029. The product is designed for investors seeking an uncapped return of 1.895 times any appreciation of the S&P 500® Futures Excess Return Index at maturity.
The notes carry significant risks, including the potential for investors to lose some or all of their principal. They are unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC, fully guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co. The minimum investment is $1,000, with a total of 775 notes being issued.
Investors should be aware that the notes do not pay interest and come with a barrier amount set at 70% of the initial value. If the index falls below this barrier at maturity, investors could lose more than 30% of their principal. The estimated value of the notes at the time of pricing was $972.80 per $1,000 note.
Neither the Securities and Exchange Commission nor any state securities commission has approved or disapproved of the notes. The product is not a bank deposit, nor is it insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other governmental agency.
