JPMorgan Issues Buffered Equity Notes with Dow Jones and S&P 500 Ties
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC is issuing 3-year Buffered Equity Notes tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 Index. The notes have a minimum denomination of $1,000, with an estimated value of at least $900 per note. They are callable on September 25, 2029, with maturity on the following day.
The notes will pay out based on the lesser performing underlying, with a buffer amount of 18.50%. If the final value of either index is greater than its initial value, investors will receive the principal amount plus any additional return. However, if the final value of either index declines by more than 18.50%, investors could lose up to $815 for each $1,000 note.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is guaranteeing the notes, which are subject to credit risk. The issuer notes that investors should consult their tax adviser regarding the U.S. federal income tax consequences of an investment in the notes.
