JPMorgan Lands $20 Billion Qatar Investment Mandate
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has landed a significant investment mandate from Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), worth $20 billion.
The partnership, which spans public equities and private markets, will be managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, with the goal of supporting QIA's long-term investment objectives.
The agreement includes a $15 billion global equity mandate, where J.P. Morgan will manage customized global equity portfolios for QIA, leveraging its active equity platform and global research capabilities.
In addition to the public equities agreement, the partnership also includes a $5 billion private markets initiative focused on U.S. middle-market companies in industrials, services, health care, and technology sectors.
