JPMorgan Launches High-Risk Notes Linked to S&P 500 Futures Index
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has launched a new financial product targeting sophisticated investors. The Uncapped Accelerated Barrier Notes are linked to the S&P 500® Futures Excess Return Index and offer an uncapped return of 1.8475 times any appreciation of the index at maturity. These notes, priced on October 1, 2026, are expected to settle on or about October 6, 2026, and will mature on October 4, 2029.
The notes come with significant risks, including the potential loss of some or all of the principal amount if the index falls below a specified barrier level of 70% of its initial value. Investors should be willing to forgo interest payments and accept the credit risk of both the issuer, JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC, and the guarantor, JPMorgan Chase & Co. The minimum investment is $1,000 per note.
The estimated value of the notes was $968.10 per $1,000 principal amount at the time of pricing. The product is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other governmental agency. Neither the Securities and Exchange Commission nor any state securities commission has approved or disapproved of the notes. The offering is part of a broader $744,000 issue, with fees and commissions set at $9.50 per note.
