JPMorgan Leads General Atlantic's Revived $130B IPO Effort
Investment firm General Atlantic has revived its initial public offering plans after nearly three years of dormancy. According to a source, JPMorgan Chase has been tapped as the lead underwriter for the IPO, with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs also involved.
The company had confidentially filed for a listing in December 2023 but delayed the offering due to market volatility. However, with the U.S. IPO market rebounding in recent months, General Atlantic is now moving forward with its plans.
General Atlantic manages around $130 billion in assets and has invested a total of $121 billion since its inception. Its global investment portfolio includes companies such as Anthropic, PhonePe, and Banamex.
