JPMorgan-Led Financing Deal for GBTG Supports Post-Merger Operations
Global Business Travel Group (GBTG) has secured a significant financing deal to support its operations after completing a merger. The company has entered into a new senior secured first-lien financing agreement with JPMorgan Chase as the administrative and collateral agent, along with other lenders.
The deal includes a $1.5 billion term loan that was drawn at closing and a $250 million undrawn revolving facility. This refinancing is intended to optimize liquidity and streamline the capital structure after the transaction.
Notably, GBTG has repaid and terminated its prior credit agreement led by Morgan Stanley Senior Funding. The termination of this agreement was effective on September 29, 2026, marking a significant change in the company's financial arrangements.
