JPMorgan Names Mark O'Donovan as New Head of Human Resources
JPMorgan Chase has announced that Mark O'Donovan will take over as its new head of human resources, effective January next year. O'Donovan currently serves as CEO of international consumer banking and will relocate from London to New York for the role.
He succeeds Robin Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of 2027 after leading human resources since 2018. Leopold has spent over 16 years at JPMorgan and was credited by CEO Jamie Dimon with helping the bank navigate significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical changes.
O'Donovan brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as chief financial officer of the Commercial & Investment Bank, CEO of Chase Home Lending, and CEO of Chase Auto. He will join JPMorgan's operating committee in his new position.
