JPMorgan Asset Management is set to deepen its relationship with Qatar's Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) through a planned $20 billion partnership. The agreement spans global equities and U.S. private credit, adding another major institutional mandate to JPMorgan's business.

The $15 billion in customized global equity portfolios that JPMorgan Asset Management will manage for QIA is the largest single institutional equity mandate secured by the firm. This new relationship brings together a large institutional equity mandate and private-market financing under one agreement with a sovereign wealth fund estimated to manage $580 billion.

QIA CEO Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi stated that the collaboration will play an important role in unlocking new opportunities for both firms to generate long-term value. This partnership demonstrates JPMorgan's ability to attract institutional capital and expand its asset management business.
