JPMorgan Snatches Top Tech M&A Talent From Rival
JPMorgan Chase has hired David Fishman from Bank of America to lead technology mergers and acquisitions in North America. He will join JPMorgan later this year and head a newly created investment banking group focused on key clients in the technology sector.
Fishman comes from a background at Bank of America, where he spent nearly 16 years as co-head of investment banking for technology, media, and telecommunications. His departure marks another senior loss for the bank, following recent moves by several high-profile bankers.
JPMorgan is also promoting Vineet Seth, who had led technology mergers and acquisitions in North America, to vice chairman of investment banking. Both Fishman and Seth will join the Technology M&A Leadership and Advisory Council, created to work with the bank's most important clients in the technology industry.
