JPMorgan Chase ended its banking relationship with prediction market Polymarket in October 2025, prompting the company to find a new lender. According to the Financial Times, JPMorgan's decision was not politically motivated or directed by regulators.

Polymerket has since moved its accounts to another bank, but JPMorgan still wants to remain involved if Polymarket pursues an initial public offering (IPO). The bank invited Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan to speak at a conference in February alongside former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

The CFTC has an ongoing investigation into Polymarket, but JPMorgan retains other business with the company. 'We maintain a close, active relationship with JPMorgan across multiple entities,' said a Polymarket spokesperson.
