JPMorgan Takes 4.7% Stake in Intertek Group
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has acquired significant holdings in Intertek Group PLC, a UK-based multinational testing and inspection company.
According to a notification filed with the London Stock Exchange on September 30th, JPMorgan now holds 4.72% of Intertek's voting rights through its subsidiary J.P. Morgan Securities PLC.
The acquisition was made in the form of cash-settled equity swaps, which will expire between January and October 2028. These financial instruments allow JPMorgan to acquire additional shares if certain conditions are met.
