JPMorgan Taps Mark O'Donovan as Head of Human Resources
JPMorgan has announced that Mark O'Donovan will take over as head of human resources, effective January next year.
O'Donovan, who has spent 30 years at JPMorgan, currently serves as CEO of international consumer banking and will relocate from London to New York. He will join the bank's operating committee and succeed Robin Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of next year after leading human resources since 2018.
Leopold has spent over 16 years at JPMorgan and was credited by CEO Jamie Dimon for helping the bank navigate significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical changes, and the rapid adoption of AI. He will be succeeded in his current role by Daniel Llano Manibardo, who is currently head of international consumer banking for Germany.
