JPMorgan Taps Mark O'Donovan as New Head of Human Resources
JPMorgan Chase has announced the appointment of Mark O'Donovan as its new head of human resources, effective January next year. He will be succeeding Robin Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of 2024 after more than 16 years at JPMorgan.
Leopold was credited by CEO Jamie Dimon for helping the bank navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical changes, and the rapid adoption of AI. He has led human resources since 2018.
O'Donovan, who currently serves as CEO of international consumer banking, will join the bank's operating committee and relocate from London to New York. He has spent 30 years at JPMorgan in various roles, including chief financial officer of the Commercial & Investment Bank, CEO of Chase Home Lending, and Chase Auto.
