JPMorgan Chase plans to maintain its hiring pace in Asia Pacific for next year after seeing significant growth in revenue at its corporate bank in the region.

The US bank's corporate banking business in Asia Pacific has grown by more than 20% so far this year, driven by Asian companies expanding abroad and increased investment in artificial intelligence, data centers, and supply chains.

JPMorgan is close to completing a roughly 15% increase in Asia Pacific corporate banking staff this year, following an expansion of the team by 20% in 2025.

The bank's regional heads, Oliver Brinkmann and Kerwin Clayton, said it will continue hiring at a similar pace in 2027 across all businesses, with growth rates exceeding 20% in markets such as Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Australia.
