JPMorgan Unveils Leveraged NVIDIA-Linked Structured Notes with 20% Buffer
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has introduced a new structured investment product, the Auto Callable Buffered Return Enhanced Notes, linked to the common stock of NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA). These notes, due October 5, 2028, offer investors a unique blend of risk and reward, with a focus on leveraged exposure to NVIDIA's stock performance. The notes come with a 20% buffer, meaning investors are protected from the first 20% of any decline in NVIDIA's stock price. However, if the stock falls by more than 20% at maturity, investors face significant downside risk, potentially losing all of their principal.
The notes will be automatically called if NVIDIA's stock price reaches or exceeds the Stock Strike Price of $228.38 on the Review Date of October 13, 2027. If called, investors receive $1,000 plus a call premium of 20.75%. If not called, investors benefit from an uncapped, leveraged exposure of 1.50 times any appreciation in NVIDIA's stock price. Conversely, if the stock price falls by more than 20%, investors will lose 1.25% of their principal for every 1% decline beyond that threshold.
These notes, issued by JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co., are unsecured and unsubordinated obligations. The minimum investment is $10,000, with additional investments in increments of $1,000. The notes reflect the issuer's and guarantor's credit risk, and investors should be prepared to forgo interest and dividend payments. The Valuation Date is set for October 2, 2028, with the Maturity Date following on October 5, 2028.
Investors considering these notes should carefully evaluate the potential for significant gains against the risk of substantial losses, particularly if NVIDIA's stock underperforms expectations.
