JPMorgan Vet Returns to Help Bank's $1.5 Trillion Security Effort

Marcus von Kapff, a JPMorgan veteran, left to work in Detroit's government after two decades at the bank. He is now back to help the bank's $1.5 trillion Security & Resilience Initiative.

Von Kapff spent time as Detroit's chief operating officer from 2024 and returned to JPMorgan this summer as head of advanced manufacturing, overseeing a team that supports companies building cutting-edge products.

He draws on his experience in the public sector to work with government officials and address problems in the advanced manufacturing sector. Von Kapff previously held various management positions at JPMorgan, including CFO of the commercial bank.
