JPMorganChase's Kate Schoff Spearheads New Sports Marketing Initiatives
Kate Schoff is making waves at JPMorganChase as the bank's head of sports and entertainment marketing. She was born in Boston and graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in economics.
Schoff's journey to this role wasn't linear, starting with an internship at the Australian Rugby Union during college. After working briefly at Lehman Brothers, she made a 'leap of faith' to join Velocity Sports & Entertainment (now MKTG), where she spent six years primarily working on the FedEx account.
In 2012, Schoff landed a senior associate role with JPMC and replaced Frank Nakano as head of sports and entertainment marketing in 2025. She's been busy reorganizing her team and securing new deals, including a TOP agreement with the International Olympic Committee and a landmark jersey patch sponsorship with Ohio State athletics.
