Judge Clears UnitedHealth from Bulk of Securities Fraud Case
A Minnesota federal court has ruled in favor of UnitedHealth Group in a securities fraud case. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Bryan found that the nation's largest pension fund couldn't sue UnitedHealth over dozens of statements touting its Medicare Advantage business.
The lawsuit alleged that UnitedHealth covered up a multi-billion dollar scheme to maximize revenues and misled shareholders about the workings of its Medicare Advantage business.
UnitedHealthcare corporate headquarters are located in Minnetonka, MN. The court's decision was made public on October 1, 2026.
