Judge Confirms $43M Award Against Mexican Company Over LNG Contract Breach
A New York federal judge has confirmed an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) award worth approximately $43 million against Mexican company for breach of a contract to fabricate gas processing units.
The award, which includes over $20 million in attorney fees and arbitration costs, was granted on October 1, 2026. The court denied the company's petition to vacate, finding that the tribunal did not engage in misconduct or disregard the parties' contract.
Honeywell International Inc. and its subsidiary had sought confirmation of the award, which now becomes a binding judgment against the Mexican company.
