Julphar Partners With IBM for Major ERP Transformation in the Middle East
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar), one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Middle East and North Africa, has launched a major enterprise transformation program to modernize its ERP landscape. The company, founded in 1980 in Ras Al Khaimah, offers a diverse portfolio of over 300 products across key therapeutic areas.
At the heart of the transformation is the migration from SAP ECC to RISE with SAP S/4HANA, which will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen regulatory compliance, and improve data transparency. The program includes the implementation of SAP's latest ERP core alongside advanced capabilities in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources.
IBM Consulting has been selected as the consulting and implementation partner for the project, which aims to establish a unified, intelligent digital core across regional operations. According to Julphar, the initiative underscores its commitment to innovation and strengthening its position as a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the region.
