Karns City Woman Passes Away After Life of Service to Family and Community
Deborah Claypoole, a 68-year-old resident of Karns City, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 7, 2026. She had been surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Claypoole was born on October 13, 1957, and grew up attending Srader Grove Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1975 and worked as a forklift driver for Moonlight Mushrooms and Creekside Mushrooms before retiring from Home Depot in 2019.
Outside of work, Claypoole enjoyed spending time with her husband, Ronald W. Claypoole, and their dogs. She also liked to crochet, garden, and ride motorcycles, and regularly attended classic car shows with her husband, where they showcased their 1974 Dodge Charger.
