Kawaii Slime Company to Open New Store at Disney Springs
Kawaii Slime Company, known for its cutesy and scented slimes, is set to expand its presence from California to Florida. The brand, which currently operates the Kawaii Slime Cart in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, announced via Instagram that it plans to open a new storefront in the Marketplace neighborhood at Disney Springs, part of Walt Disney World Resort’s outdoor shopping and entertainment district. The announcement was made with a playful reel featuring the company’s mascot, Shelly the octopus, boarding a plane from California to Florida.
The exact nature of the new location, whether it will be a full storefront or a cart similar to the one in Disneyland, has not been disclosed. Additionally, neither Kawaii Slime Company nor Walt Disney World Resort has revealed a grand opening date for the new location. Founded in 2017, Kawaii Slime Company started as a family project and has since grown into a popular brand offering a variety of slimes, plush toys, and craft kits.
The brand is known for its pastel packaging, adorable original characters, and sensory toys that resemble beverages, desserts, animals, and fantastical creatures. Most slimes include charms, fake sprinkles, and other mix-ins, catering to a wide range of sensory preferences.
