Kirby Tribute Plaque Installed at Avengers Campus

A new tribute plaque has been installed at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure to honor Jack Kirby, co-creator of many Marvel superheroes. The plaque is located near the entrance to the themed land and joins a similar one honoring Stan Lee, unveiled in February 2022.

Kirby worked alongside Stan Lee at Marvel Comics, creating iconic characters such as Captain America, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and more. He was posthumously awarded Disney Legend status in 2017.

A social media video released by Disney Parks celebrates the installation of the new plaque, which is positioned across from the Stan Lee tribute. The video includes a quote from Jack Kirby: 'If you look at my characters, you will find me.'
