Kitchen Cabinets Ditching All-White Trend for Earthy Hues
Kitchen cabinet color trends are shifting away from all-white and gray towards softer, muted tones and high-impact earthy hues, according to designers.
Sherwin-Williams' Director of Color Marketing, Sue Wadden, notes that homeowners are looking to add more color to their kitchens, moving away from the neutral backgrounds that have been popular in recent years.
Farrow & Ball's Preference Red No.297 and Benjamin Moore's Classic Burgundy are just two examples of deep, rich colors being used on kitchen cabinets this year.
Sherwin Williams' Carnelian SW 7580 is also a top pick for designers, offering a deep saturated violet with warm red undertones that adds drama and mystery to the space.
