Korean Air Finalizes Massive Boeing Order for 103 Aircraft
Korean Air has finalized its order for 103 Boeing aircraft as part of its fleet modernization efforts. The deal includes 20 Boeing 777-9s, 25 787-10s, 50 737-10s, and eight 777-8 Freighters.
The order was announced on September 16 and is a result of bilateral trade negotiations between the United States and South Korea. According to Boeing, the deal highlights the strong industrial ties between the two nations.
The procurement commitment was made by Korean Air in August 2025, and the airline's chairman and CEO Walter Cho attended an event marking the finalization of the order along with other senior officials from both countries.
