Korean Air Locks In 103 Boeing Aircraft Order
Korean Air has finalized an order for 103 Boeing aircraft as part of its largest-ever procurement plan. The airline announced in August 2025 that it would be purchasing several models from Boeing, and this latest development confirms those plans.
The order comprises 20 Boeing 777-9s, 25 Boeing 787-10s, 50 Boeing 737-10s, and 8 Boeing 777-8 Freighters. Korean Air Chairman and CEO Walter Cho attended an event with other key figures to announce the finalized deal.
The announcement was made at a ceremony attended by notable individuals including Stephanie Pope, president of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and Kim Jung-kwan, South Korea's Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.
