Korean Air Places Record Order for 103 Boeing Aircraft
Korean Air has finalized a massive order for Boeing aircraft, solidifying its commitment to upgrading its fleet. The deal, which was first announced in August 2025, comprises 20 Boeing 777-9 passenger jets, 25 787-10 Dreamliners, 50 737-10 narrowbodies, and eight 777-8 Freighters.
The order covers both passenger and cargo operations and will support the airline's long-term modernization program. Boeing described the deal as a result of bilateral trade negotiations between the US and South Korea, highlighting their ongoing industrial partnership.
The agreement was formally announced at an event in Seoul, attended by Korean Air chairman Walter Cho, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president Stephanie Pope, and senior officials from both countries.
