KromAmericas Buys AFM in First Acquisition
KromAmericas, an authorized Kromschröder Master Distributor for North America, has acquired American Flame Monitoring (AFM), a Pearland, Texas-based distributor of Honeywell Industrial Flame Monitoring products. This is the first acquisition for KromAmericas, and terms were not disclosed.
The deal brings together two complementary combustion product lines under one roof, aiming to simplify sourcing for OEMs, engineers, and system integrators across North and South America. AFM adds Honeywell's flame monitoring portfolio to KromAmericas' existing line of Kromschröder products.
'AFM and KromAmericas have built their businesses around the same priorities: having the right products available and delivering strong customer and technical support,' said Chris Gordon, general manager of KromAmericas.
