KromAmericas Buys American Flame Monitoring to Expand Product Portfolio
KromAmericas, an Indianapolis-based distributor of combustion and control products, has made its first acquisition with American Flame Monitoring (AFM), a Texas-based company specializing in Honeywell Industrial Flame Monitoring products. The deal marks KromAmericas' expansion into new product lines and technical expertise.
The acquisition adds AFM's offerings to KromAmericas' existing portfolio, which includes pressure switches, solenoid valves, and preassembled valve trains. AFM serves as the North American master distributor for Honeywell's Industrial Flame Monitoring product lines, supplying authorized distributors and original equipment manufacturers.
'This acquisition brings together two organizations with complementary product portfolios and expertise,' KromAmericas General Manager Chris Gordon said. The businesses will consolidate operations at KromAmericas' existing Indianapolis location.
