Kryvyi Rih Supermarkets Fill Empty Shelves with Alternative Goods Amid Food Shortages

Supermarkets in Kryvyi Rih are covering up food shortages caused by Russian strikes on food processing plants. On September 3, a Coca-Cola plant in the Brovary district of Kyiv Oblast was attacked, but it did not suspend operations.

A few days later, an ATB store in Kryvyi Rih put an entire display of beverages on sale, including Coca-Cola products. However, this space became available due to a shortage of grains, pasta, sugar, and flour, which were missing from the shelves during that period.

On September 6, Russians targeted 'Roma,' one of the largest flour producers in the Kharkiv region, exacerbating the shortages. The shelves have since been restocked with flour, grains, and pasta, but Coca-Cola beverages are still scarce.
