Lagan Shastri Named CEO of Coca-Cola Bottling Partner SLMG Beverages

SLMG Beverages, a Coca-Cola bottling partner, has appointed Lagan Shastri as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 10, 2026. Shastri brings nearly three decades of experience in the beverages and consumer products sectors, including two decades with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) where he progressed from a Management Trainee to Executive Director, Market Operations.

Shastri's career also includes stints as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of DFM Foods and Strategic Advisor at Reliance Consumer Products. His broad consumer-sector perspective, combined with his deep Coca-Cola system expertise, makes him an ideal candidate for the role.

The Board of Directors of SLMG Beverages is confident in Shastri's leadership abilities, citing his proven track record of building high-performing teams and developing leaders.
