Lake City Protesters Demand Answers About Missing Homeless Cats

The cats had been living around the store for about six years and were cared for by a member of the Ranch Rescue of Lake City. The organization says they trapped, neutered, and returned the cats, vaccinated them, and ear-tipped them to identify them as spayed or neutered.

The protesters claim that the cats disappeared after the store came under new management. They are seeking transparency from Home Depot, including whether any owned pets could have been mistakenly caught. Community members have been pushing for answers, but so far, they have not received any information about what happened to the missing cats.

The Ranch Rescue says it is concerned that the cats may have been removed by the new management and are now being held somewhere else. They plan to continue pushing for answers until they know what happened to the missing cats.
