From a TikTok discovery to the Opry stage, Lamont has achieved success that he never thought possible. He recently performed at the legendary Grand Ole Opry alongside country icon Vince Gill.
Vince was particularly special for Lamont because his mom took him to see Vince's concert when he was a kid, and Lamont got to sing alongside him on stage.
The biggest turning point in Lamont's recent rise can be attributed to producer Dave Cobb, who signed him to Lucile Records after reaching out following Questlove reposting one of his covers on TikTok.
