A group of large-cap U.S. stocks is showing weak momentum compared to their sector peers.
The Quant Momentum Grade, developed by Seeking Alpha, measures a stock's momentum relative to its sector. The grade compares multiple indicators, including medium- and long-term price performance, against other stocks in the same sector.
The list includes companies from various sectors such as technology, financials, utilities, real estate, industrials, and consumer goods. Notably, several large-cap names have fallen significantly this year, with some declining by more than 40%.
CoStar Group CSGP is down 54.85%, while Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. FMCC has declined 55.82%. AppLovin APP has fallen 51.54%, and Federal National Mortgage Association FNMA is down 54.24%. Other notable decliners include Nike NKE, Fidelity National Information Services FIS, and Rollins ROL.
