Larsen & Toubro Partners with IBM, Red Hat for AI-Driven Open-Source Software Remediation

Larsen & Toubro's (LTM) subsidiary, LTM, has partnered with IBM and Red Hat to develop Lightwell, an AI-driven platform for open-source software remediation. The goal is to help enterprises strengthen their open-source software supply chains through vulnerability remediation.

The collaboration aims to address the growing pressure on enterprises to identify, validate, and deploy fixes at speed as AI accelerates both software development and vulnerability discovery.

LTM's Chief Information Security Officer, Chandan Pani, stated that 'As AI accelerates software development and vulnerability discovery, enterprises need a faster and more scalable approach to remediation.'
