A lawsuit has been filed against four leading AI companies alleging they made an illegal agreement to slow down their respective AI development.
The lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, claims that Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceXAI, and Google violated antitrust laws by coordinating slowdown efforts.
The plaintiffs argue that this agreement would reduce the value consumers get from paid AI subscriptions.
