LCD Soundsystem Announces 2026 NYC Residency With 12 Shows
LCD Soundsystem is set to return for its annual New York residency in 2026, with 12 shows spanning three weekends between November 19 and December 13. The band will perform at Knockdown Center in Queens and Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, with the November 30 show marking their 100th residency performance. Proceeds from this special night will go to an as-yet-unnamed charity, and the event promises a "100 NYC residency show blowout" featuring guest performers and DJs.
Tickets for all 12 shows will be available through two presales before the general sale. The Amex presale runs from October 6 to October 8, exclusively for American Express Card Members. A separate fan presale will take place from October 7 to October 8, but registration does not guarantee ticket availability. For those who miss these presales, verified resale marketplaces like Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, and StubHub offer tickets, with some discounts available using specific codes.
The 2026 residency will continue the band’s tradition of live openers and afterparty DJ sets, though specific names have not been announced. This marks the sixth consecutive year of LCD Soundsystem’s holiday-season residency, following a successful run in 2025 that included the rare performance of "Too Much Love." After the residency, the band will play shows in Aspen, Colorado, and open for Harry Styles in Rome in 2027. Their last album, "American Dream," was released in 2017.
